Belgian competition mid-season feedback
Dear clubs and teams,
After the first two days of competition, here is a small feedback from the competition council. We enjoyed having these first two days, and hope you enjoyed it as well. We met a few hiccups, but we feel that things went smoothly overall.
After these two days, the ranking is as follows:
1. Orca Squid
2. BUWH 1
3. Mantis
4. Holy Orca
5. Koraal
6. EPO Akula
7. Antwerp Sharks
8. EPO Tubarao
9. BUWH Otters
10. Zuunse Karpers (forfeit)
Following this ranking, the teams have been organised in two groups, and the teams within each group will be playing against each other during the next two competition days. Group 1 is composed of the teams from ranking position 1 to 5, group 2 from 6 to 9. Also, Zuunse Karpers informed us that they will be forfeit for the rest of the season and will not be participating.
The schedule for the next two competition days is available at http://www.belgiumuwh.be/schedule/
You can also find additional information there about the ranking of the first two days.
We are also looking for a volunteer to come pick up the walls at Philippe’s place in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw and bring them back on April 7th (we already have a volunteer on March 17th). So if you have a car that can tow a trailer, your help would be appreciated. Please note that if we cannot find a volunteer, we cannot guarantee that there will be walls on April 7th.
Also, as mentioned in the Belgian competition rules, rule 1.5.3, it is possible for you to modify the composition of your team between the second and third day of the competition. If you wish to do so, please send a message to us before Friday 8th March (included).
As always, your feedback is important to us to help us improve the competition. So if you have any comment or question, don’t hesitate to send an e-mail or a whatsapp message on the competition group.
See you all on March 17th !
